Buzzy bees at the temple of song

Leaving the noise of day at the door,

we meet in body and circle

Glad to share our sweet sounds

like happy buzzy bees

Humming hearts find each other in

full-bodied vibration, graciously gliding

like slow dancers on ice

The sound is naked, honest, ballast,

weaving truths through the air

like silk in trees

The drone of earth pulses,

holds us like the sky holds a brimming moon

We breathe it in, the harmony,

community, this moment

The red thread of life curled into age-old notes

Prayer braided in song and soul

like carvings in stone, the ancient ring of

Georgia tingles through room and skin

And hanging in the silence is belonging

A love that comes from bone

And so

sisters brothers

little buzzy bees,

let’s sing

Georgia Heart
